Guillermo Dorado is a Los Angeles based filmmaker and photographer whose production career started with live events ranging from the prestigious automotive show, Concourse d’Elegance, to the world’s largest video game expo, E3. Seeking a more filmic route, he moved away from live event coordination to in pursuit of more narratively driven productions within the film/television and commercial space. His career in production has allowed him to direct his own short films and music videos. This trajectory lead to producing for a number of high profile clients such as; Nintendo, Kia, Meta (formerly FB), Amazon, Anheuser-Busch, AT&T, Microsoft, Stubhub, and Rideback Ranch. He is currently an in-house Senior Producer for commercial content at the national ad agency Contend Co and has been since 2018.

He was raised on ghost stories and practical jokes, exposed to horror films well before was most likely appropriate for his age, and simultaneously loved and terrorized by his family. These identity shaping experiences have formed him into the tender hearted, quick-witted, and slightly macabre man he is today.

You can find him residing in Joy and vacationing in the Dark Spaces.
